To acknowledge arts is an awareness that is not necessary and to produce quality and competitive arts that is like doubting our innovativeness? What about cross-combination of multiple creative ideas, disciplines and cross-fertilization of approaches in arts? Now that is a social richness and capacity involvement that again arts doesn’t need for Now! Now!
May be (Collectively) training of people (young) to become performing artists, teachers, makers and educators? This does not contribute to any artistic vibrancy apart from sucking the economy dry and creating unnecessary competition among the so called ‘artists’ themselves, contributing to some sort of fighting for human rights, making them only richer.
Is this the critical attitude towards arts we should face head on?
